Flashbooking.com makes explicit to its users the following terms and conditions of use of its service. 1. SERVICE. Flashbooking.com provides its users with an updated list of selected establishments all over the world that can be easily and securely booked on-line 24/7 , all year long through its booking software.
2. MANAGEMENT. Flashbooking.com, does NOT have any direct responsibility to the establishments as it merely offers them visibility on the website. The establishments are solely responsible for the information provided ( availability, rates, facilities…) and accommodation supplied. 3. RATES. The rates advertised on the website are fixed and available exclusively through Flashbooking.com. The establishment CANNOT offer the same rates to someone who books privately, disregarding the system. 4. DEPOSIT. When confirming a booking in order to secure the room, the user immediately pays by credit card a non-refundable deposit of 10% (of the total booking cost) and a €2 (Euros) booking fee. The remaining balance (90%) is payable to the establishment upon arrival or at check-out in local currency or with credit card ( if accepted by the establishment). 5. BOOKINGS. Once credit card transaction is completed, users are re-directed to the booking confirmation page where all relevant booking details are reported. It is the user’s responsibility to print out a copy of the ‘Reservation Details’, conserve it or take note of the Reservation Number, and present it at the time of check-in. In case of loss, it is possible to log into the personal ‘MyBooking’ account and see the booking details again. Furthermore, Flashbooking sends another confirmation via email, to both user and establishment, with all the relevant information, including the establishment’s contact details (address, phone/fax number, email address).
GROUP BOOKINGS: please, be aware that for any group bookings a 10% commission will be added to the total booking amount in order to cover all Flashbooking's expenses and services. 6. EXTENSIONS. Should the user wish to extend the stay in the same establishment or add new beds/rooms, he or she will have to proceed by making another online booking through the Flashbooking system. For other types of changes, users have to contact the establishment directly ( details provided at the moment of confirmation). Flashbooking.com is not responsible for any extra service fee which may occur for the requested changes. 7. CANCELLATIONS. In order to cancel a reservation, the user has to log into his/her personal ‘MyBooking’ account providing User Name (nickname) and password. From there it is possible to Cancel the reservation by entering in ‘View Details’. Please, note that: a) for any 72+ hours advance notice: Flashbooking does NOT provide any cancellation fee. Nonetheless, some establishments may charge a fee according to their internal cancellation policy that is available on-line under ‘more details’ in the hotel profile and/or in ‘Reservation Details’ ( last confirmation page). The user should contact the establishment directly to verify if it is the case. Flashbooking is not liable or responsible for any related issue and all claims have to be managed between the user and the accommodation provider. The establishment has the right to charge the user’s credit card with the relevant penalty amount. b) for any 72- hours advance notice or in case of a No-Show: if not otherwise reported by the establishment (and available on-line under ‘more details’ in the hotel profile and/or in ‘Reservation Details’ ), the user will be charged a cancellation fee corresponding to the price of the first night per person. Both user and establishment will receive an automated notification of the cancellation via e-mail. In every case, deposit and booking fee are non-refundable. 8. CREDIT CARD. It is crucial that the credit card details provided by the user are correct. Flashbooking.com is not liable or responsible in any way for any incorrect inserted data. In order to proceed with an on-line booking and confirmation, the user must be at least 18 years old. In order to provide guaranteed on-line booking services, Flashbooking.com will put at establishment’s disposal and through an encrypted and private access, the user’s credit card details. From that moment on, Flashbooking is not more liable or responsible if any improper use of the user’s credit card occurs.
9. SECURITY. Flashbooking.com strives to guarantee that all credit card transactions are secure and all data encrypted. For this reason, Flashbooking.com ensures all data processing with Thawte SSL Certificates, one of the most reliable company for this kind of services, internationally renowned. Nevertheless, if at any time during or after any transaction, unauthorised charges appear on the user’s credit card, Flashbooking.com cannot be considered liable or responsible in any way for any damage or loss suffered. 10. COMMUNICATIONS. It is essential that the user provides a correct and valid e-mail address as it will be used as the preferential way to communicate all information, transactions and confirmations. It is the user’s responsibility to inform Flashbooking.com as soon as possible in case of mistakes or inexactness. Flashbooking.com is not liable or responsible in case of incorrect or inaccurate data transmission. At the moment of booking confirmation, Flashbooking.com also requests a direct telephone contact that will be used only in case of real emergency related to the safety of the user or to unexpected changing of the booking itself. 11. GUARANTEE. Flashbooking.com ensures that accommodation availability is taken directly from the real availabilities that each establishment supplies to Flashbooking.com. According to this, Flashbooking.com is not responsible or liable in case the partner establishment provides wrong or false information and/ or in case overbooking occurs. 12. CURRENCY. Flashbooking.com uses an accurate currency converter, daily and automatically updated for prices expressed in currencies other than Euro (EUR). However, unexpected changes in the tendency of the money market and/or user’s Credit Card contract, can cause slight adjustments and rounding-offs on the amounts the credit card Company may charge. In these situations, Flashbooking.com cannot be considered directly responsible. |
